Lokomotiv Cove was formed in 2007 by Members of the Cove (Sydney FC supporters). Since then the club has grown to have up to 20 teams at all adult levels (Men, Women, O35 and O45).
We are an amateur club built on the foundations of fantastic work of our committee and coaches to ensure the enjoyment of the hundreds that wear the club colours each week. We are an inclusive club that welcomes new players into teams at all levels each year.
Lokomotiv Premier League and Premier League Reserves play their football in the Eastern Suburbs Premier League (ESFA). In late January we will be holding a series of games/trials in which we welcome new players to join the established core group to come for a kick around and give you a chance to find out if we are the team for you (and vice versa).
We have a good mix of Australian, Irish and English players with the odd Scotsman and a couple of European flavours in their too.
Some key points below…
- We play on Saturdays afternoons – 1pm & 3pm so you need to be available from midday depending on Squad selection
- In addition you must be able to commit to 1 night a week for training also
- Season starts in late March/April until September and preseason starts in late Jan with games in February onwards
- We are an amateur team so you will be paying your own registration fees which are due 1 week before the season starts
Trials start this Saturday morning (16.01.16) at Moore Park Synthetic Field, this is a brand new complex with top class facilities. We will be starting at 8:30am.
Please ensure you bring moulded boots & shinguards.
